“I have tried various gyms, lifting weights, counting reps on machines but became easily bored.  Then I started to think that I needed some form of exercise that I would love and continue as I try to age gracefully and get back into shape.  And then it dawned on me, I had taken ballet lessons from ages 5-13 and thought that ballet is a great workout and wanted to go back. After reading the Revere Neighbors’ magazine article about Ana and Steve, I felt that Ana would be the BEST to try one of the adult ballet classes.  I cut Ana’s ad out of the magazine and stuck it in my calendar.  Did I call the next day, of course not, somehow life’s daily to do lists got in the way. I went online to Alba Wellness website and did some research on adult ballet classes but then I thought what I really needed was a one-on-one approach and Gyrokinesis looked very interesting.  Finally, on October 4, I inquired about a Gyrotonic workout program.  I am so happy that I called!  After a workout session, I feel that my body’s muscles have been stretched so the I sit, stand, and walk more upright.  My breathing and my brain seems clearer after I workout.  One of my goals is to have a tighter body so that as I age gracefully, my muscles will be strengthen and hopefully certain areas will not be sagging.  Ana and I are starting to work on core strength which will help my overall health!
