ADVANCED & INTERMEDIATE is a 4-week experience for students to advance and expand their training by challenging their bodies to develop greater strength and control. Our world-class faculty specializes in providing frequent and personal corrections in a small class size to every student in the room. Their persistence and attention to detail will embolden them to come out of their comfort zones which will progress their technique and leave a lasting impression on your dancer's training. Limited space available to provide quality instruction. Ages 10+.

Curriculum: Classical Ballet, Pointe & Variations, Contemporary, Adult Ballet, Pilates Mat, Stage Makeup, Conditioning, GYROTONIC®

Session 1: June 17- 28, Session 2: July 8-19
Daily Classes Monday - Friday from 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM

ADVANCED BEGINNER is an abbreviated 4-week experience for students to advance and expand their training. Our world-class faculty specializes in providing frequent and personal corrections to every student in the room. Their persistence and attention to detail will progress their dancing and leave a lasting impression. Limited space available to provide quality instruction. Ages 6-10 years.

Curriculum: Classical Ballet, Variations, Contemporary, Pilates Mat, Conditioning

Session 1: June 17- 28, Session 2: July 8-19
Daily Classes Monday - Wednesday from 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM

PRINCESS & PRINCE CAMPS are a fun dance camp experience with dance, story time, crafts, and snacks. Your child will have fun, make new friends, gain confidence, learn self-awareness, and improve coordination. Small class size to provide quality dance instruction. Ages 3-7 years.

Session 1: June 3-12, Session 2: July 22-31

Ages 3-5: Tuesdays from 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM
Ages 6-7: Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM

DANCE WITH ME is a parent and child participation class with a focus on having fun and learning through movement and dance. Children (and parents) will have fun, gain confidence, and learn musicality. Small class size to provide quality dance instruction. Ages 18 months to 2 years.

WORLD-CLASS INSTRUCTORS

Ana Lobé

Founder, Ballet Academy Artistic Director

Ana Lobé has over 25 years of professional dance experience. She trained with Cuba’s National Ballet School. Later joining English National Ballet as a Principal Dancer. Choreographer and Artistic Director,  Dennis Nahat, brought Ms. Lobé to Cleveland San Jose Ballet in 1994, where she extended her already existing classical repertoire dancing the lead roles in productions of  Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, El Toreador, Coppelia, Swan Lake, Apollo, Who Cares?, Theme & Variation, Raymonda and Carmen, the masterpiece from French Choreographer, Roland Petit, which Nahat brought specially for her. 

Fast forward to September 2012, Ms. Lobé founded “ALBA” Ana Lobe Ballet Academy. She has created an exciting, synergistic curriculum with injury prevention that is a culmination of all the knowledge she received from her early training in Cuba and from working with other influential artists throughout her career. By serving the needs of the dancer, ALBA has established itself as a facility that connects people with a passion for dance; whether they hope to become professional ballerinas or go on to fulfill other aspirations. Taina Morales

Guest Instructor

Taina Morales trained with Cuba’s National Ballet School. Upon graduation, she joined National Ballet of Cuba where she danced for 10 years, becoming a soloist.

Morales has danced with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Compañia Nacional de Danza in Mexico City, and Ballet de Monterrey in Mexico.

An internationally renowned teacher and coach, Morales has developed dancers at English National Ballet School, Norwegian National Ballet School, Ecole Superior de Ballet du Quebec, Alberta Ballet School, and Royal Danish Ballet School. As a rehearsal director, Morales has worked with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, La La La Human Steps, Ballet Jazz de Montreal, Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Slovak National Theatre, and The Royal Danish Ballet.

Rosanna Nesta

Guest Instructor

Rossana Nesta is the Ballet Mistress at the Ballet Academy of Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill (NC). She started her teaching career at the School of Balletto di Roma and was later invited to teach in numerous summer programs in Italy. In the United States, Nesta has taught at the Western Ballet School (CA), Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PA), and served as professor at the University of Point Park in Pittsburgh (PA). In 2005 she moved to North Carolina and became the Ballet Mistress of the Cary Ballet Conservatory. In 2010 she became the Artistic Director of the International Ballet Academy in Cary. She received the Outstanding Teacher Award at the YAGP Competitions in 2013, 2014 and 2017, the Outstanding School in 2015, 2018 and her Ensemble choreography got 2nd place at the same competitions in the 2018. In the same year, Ms. Nesta also got the Outstanding Coach award at the American Dance Competitions (ADC).

Several of Ms. Nesta’s students have gone on to successful professional careers with companies such as New York City Ballet (NYCB), American Ballet Theater (ABT), San Francisco Ballet, Ballet West (Salt Lake City), Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT), Richmond Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Texas Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, and Norwegian National Ballet. Ms. Nesta's philosophy is to train dedicated students to be successful in life. Ballet is the discipline that is going to make them successful, not matter the field they are choosing to be!

Heather Muzic

Children’s Camps

Heather Muzic started her dance training at Angela’s Dance Studio where she studied the Cecchetti Method of ballet, pointe, jazz and tap. After graduating high school, Muzic took her love of dance to the University of Akron in pursuit of a BFA in Dance Performance and Education. During those four years, she studied ballet, pointe, modern, and jazz under the instruction ofAndy Carroll, Lana Carroll, Jerry Burr, Inna Stabrova, Tom Smith and Priscilla Wagner. She performed with Akron’s Repertory Dance Company and attended and performed at The American College Dance Festival. Muzic also had the opportunity to study with Joffrey Ballet,Ohio Ballet, Ohio Dance Theatre, Jennifer Muller Dance Company, Inlet Dance Theatre and multiple schools in New York City, including Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.

Muzic has been teaching in Northeast Ohio for over twenty years, bringing her love and passion for dance to Studio 82, Solon Center For the Arts, Noreen Londregan School of Dance, Rising Star, Music Settlement, CMSD, and Dianna Durkin. In addition to teaching in the studio setting, she always makes time to help further her students' individual growth by offering mentorship and private lessons. She has choreographed for multiple venues including recitals, weddings, and dance competitions–with her latest piece taking first overall at KAR. Muzic has also taught multiple masterclasses, most recently at the All Ohio Dance Festival. She also has been a master shoe fitter at Stage Center for the past seven years, ensuring perfect fits for all styles of dance with a focus on pointe shoes.
