ADVANCED & INTERMEDIATE is a 3-week experience for students to advance and expand their training by challenging their bodies to develop greater strength and control. Our world-class faculty specializes in providing frequent and personal corrections in a small class size to every student in the room. Their persistence and attention to detail will embolden them to come out of their comfort zones which will progress their technique and leave a lasting impression on your dancer's training. Limited space available to provide quality instruction. Ages 11+.

Curriculum: Classical Ballet, Pointe & Variations, Contemporary, Adult Ballet, Pilates Mat, Stage Makeup, Conditioning, GYROTONIC®

Week 1: July 6-10, 2026, Week 2: July 13-17, 2026, Week 3: July 20-24, 2026

ADVANCED BEGINNER is an abbreviated 3-week experience for students to advance and expand their training. Our world-class faculty specializes in providing frequent and personal corrections to every student in the room. Their persistence and attention to detail will progress their dancing and leave a lasting impression. Limited space available to provide quality instruction. Ages 7-10 years.

Curriculum: Classical Ballet, Variations, Contemporary, Pilates Mat, Conditioning

BALLET SUMMER CAMP (Beginner Ballet) a wonderful camp for children curious to learn ballet. They learn about musicality, stretches, dress up characters mixed with ballet syllabus. Small class size to provide quality dance instruction. Ages 6-7 years

TINY DANCERS CAMP are a fun dance camp experience with dance, story time, crafts, and snacks. Your child will have fun, make new friends, gain confidence, learn self-awareness, and improve coordination. Small class size to provide quality dance instruction. Ages 3-5 years.

Ana Lobé

Founder, Ballet Academy Artistic Director

Ana Lobé has over 25 years of professional dance experience. She trained with Cuba’s National Ballet School. Later joining English National Ballet as a Principal Dancer. Choreographer and Artistic Director,  Dennis Nahat, brought Ms. Lobé to Cleveland San Jose Ballet in 1994, where she extended her already existing classical repertoire dancing the lead roles in productions of  Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, El Toreador, Coppelia, Swan Lake, Apollo, Who Cares?, Theme & Variation, Raymonda and Carmen, the masterpiece from French Choreographer, Roland Petit, which Nahat brought specially for her. 

Fast forward to September 2012, Ms. Lobé founded “ALBA” Ana Lobe Ballet Academy. She has created an exciting, synergistic curriculum with injury prevention that is a culmination of all the knowledge she received from her early training in Cuba and from working with other influential artists throughout her career. By serving the needs of the dancer, ALBA has established itself as a facility that connects people with a passion for dance; whether they hope to become professional ballerinas or go on to fulfill other aspirations. Lauren Stenroos

Ballet

Lauren Stenroos is a founding company dancer with Cleveland Ballet. She is celebrating her 10th season as a dancer with the company and is also serving as a rehearsal director.  She began her training at Nan Klinger’s Excellence in Dance / Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet under Nan and Mia Klinger. She attended summer intensives at Chautauqua Institution, Richmond Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, University of Akron Dance Institute, and Cleveland San Jose Ballet. In 2009, Lauren graduated from Mercyhurst University with a B.A. in Dance with a Music Composition Minor, studying with Tauna Hunter, Michael Gleason and Lesley Bories-Scalise. Prior to joining Cleveland Ballet, Lauren danced professionally with Dayton Ballet, James Sewell Ballet, Texture Contemporary Ballet, Nashville Ballet II, and Lake Erie Ballet. Over the years as a professional, she has continued to fine tune her training and understanding of ballet, studying with Lesley Bories-Scalise, Sallyann Mulcahy, and Pamela Pribisco.

At Cleveland Ballet, she has originated many principal and soloist roles in the repertoire and has danced in nearly every ballet in the history of the company’s repertoire. Some of her favorite roles are Russian Girl in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Woodland Glade Fairy in Robert Weiss’s Sleeping Beauty, Sugarplum Fairy and Dewdrop in The Nutcracker, A Twisted Sister in Lynne Taylor-Corbett’s Dracula, Swanilda in Ramon Oller’s Coppelia, Hipployta in Ramon Oller’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Queen of Hearts in Margo Sappington’s Alice, and Queen of the Dryads in Don Quixote.

Lauren is a certified Pilates Instructor on the mat and reformer and recently completed her Pilates Chair certification with ballet applications through Master Pilates and GYROKINESIS® Trainer, Alicia Head. Lauren also teaches ballet, composes music, and has created original compositions for dance.

Heather Muzic

Children’s Camps

Heather Muzic started her dance training at Angela’s Dance Studio where she studied the Cecchetti Method of ballet, pointe, jazz and tap. After graduating high school, Muzic took her love of dance to the University of Akron in pursuit of a BFA in Dance Performance and Education. During those four years, she studied ballet, pointe, modern, and jazz under the instruction ofAndy Carroll, Lana Carroll, Jerry Burr, Inna Stabrova, Tom Smith and Priscilla Wagner. She performed with Akron’s Repertory Dance Company and attended and performed at The American College Dance Festival. Muzic also had the opportunity to study with Joffrey Ballet,Ohio Ballet, Ohio Dance Theatre, Jennifer Muller Dance Company, Inlet Dance Theatre and multiple schools in New York City, including Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.

Muzic has been teaching in Northeast Ohio for over twenty years, bringing her love and passion for dance to Studio 82, Solon Center For the Arts, Noreen Londregan School of Dance, Rising Star, Music Settlement, CMSD, and Dianna Durkin. In addition to teaching in the studio setting, she always makes time to help further her students' individual growth by offering mentorship and private lessons. She has choreographed for multiple venues including recitals, weddings, and dance competitions–with her latest piece taking first overall at KAR. Muzic has also taught multiple masterclasses, most recently at the All Ohio Dance Festival. She also has been a master shoe fitter at Stage Center for the past seven years, ensuring perfect fits for all styles of dance with a focus on pointe shoes.

Emma Brady

Guest Instructor

Emma Brady is a graduate of Ana Lobe Ballet Academy and one of its original students from the very beginning of ALBA. She trained and competed at Youth America Grand Prix before spending two summers with Nashville Ballet, where she later joined as a trainee, performing in The NutcrackerSleeping Beauty, and contemporary works. She went on to dance with State Street Ballet as a second company member while also working in their costume shop. Her performing career was ultimately cut short due to injury, which now fuels her strong focus on injury prevention and longevity in training.

She began college early at Cleveland State University and continued at Belmont University while dancing. She later moved to Los Angeles, studying improv at The Groundlings and performing stand-up at venues including The Laugh FactoryHaha Comedy Club, and Flappers Comedy Club. While performing across LA, she earned her associate’s degree from Santa Monica College before transferring to University of California San Diego, where she completed her B.A. in Theatre and Costume Design.

After graduating, Emma worked in UCSD’s professional scene shop as a scenic carpenter and metal fabricator following graduation. While in San Diego, she also taught at INSPIRE School of Ballet, where she choreographed Peter Pan and The Nutcracker and designed costumes for both productions. Her teaching style is precise and highly individualized, rooted in alignment, strength, and developing each dancer’s unique facility.

Back in Cleveland, she founded the Emma Brady Ballet Workshop and worked on the Disney/Hulu film Eenie Meanie as a costume production assistant.

Nicole Hirsch

Guest Instructor

Nicole Hirsch, originally from Broadview Heights, Ohio, has focused her dance career on developing versatility and artistry across ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and contemporary styles. She began her early training at studios in the Cleveland area including Ana Lobé Ballet Academy before continuing her studies at Mercyhurst University with faculty including C. Noelle Partusch, Jennifer McNamara, Matthew Christensen, Mark Santillano, Solveig Santillano, and Danielle Kaiser.

Nicole has performed a wide range of repertoire, from classical ballets to new choreographic works. Her notable performance credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Alice in Wonderland, Coppélia, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and Crayola, as well as faculty and guest artist works that highlight both her classical foundation and contemporary versatility. She further expanded her training and performance experience by attending summer intensives with Joffrey Ballet School, Butler Ballet, Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, and Mercyhurst’s Jumpstart program. Nicole is now a proud graduate of Mercyhurst University with a B.A. in Dance and a B.A. in Marketing.

Bringing strong musicality, discipline, and thoughtful artistry to every performance, Nicole offers a grounded stage presence and collaborative spirit in both ensemble and featured roles. She is passionate about continuing to grow as a performer and artist, using dance to connect with audiences and create meaningful, memorable experiences.
